Ta-da!

Yesterday’s tasks completed: 1) PC wouldn’t power on. My suspicion was correct as far as root cause, the power button was a tad out of place/stuck in the pushed in position. Open up, took things apart, put back in place, turned on, fixed! 2) dog walks. Bella needs boots on (she has a sensitive paw that she worries) and it was very icy, I nearly wiped out three times, even with Sorels, walks weren’t as long as I would have liked but at least they got walked. 3) tennis - on time, and after the first set, my playing ability showed up, so we won the second set and the tiebreaker too. 4) resume - located updated copy, adding to. Hard to talk up previous job as mostly proprietary apps. Will have to emphasize managerial skills, etc

Mid-January, 2012

That’s when my fence blew down. I have not been able to let the dogs outside unsupervised since then. It’s been terrible.

I also noticed the sign that someone had posted inside the tennis courts regarding not using them as a dog run (the horrors. I hate it when the court is misused like that) was down. I wonder how they would like it if something they loved was used as a dog play-space. Hmmm??? It was not me that posted that. I agree with it but when it comes down to it, it’s a public court. There will never be windscreens, a score card, lights, court dividers, etc.

My fence is scheduled to be fixed the week of April 10. I can see it, it’s so close.

My man, Mr. Phelps, is getting ready - tapering down, get back to top lean, mean, swimming machine that he is. I wonder what music he’ll be listening to on his way up to the blocks.

Michael and I are butterflyers. Means we have great upper body strength and can undulate (oh yeh, baby, I said undulate).

I want to learn how to blow those rings underwater. I bet I can figure it out. It looks like he is holding his hands in a circle. Off on a mission. I think I’ll ask Anna Scott-Kube.

I gotta get back in the pool more. I was stronger and fitter when swimming 4-5 times a week. This tennis crap, so I get to dress cute, it’s not active enough for me and hard on my body.
