Regardless of the fact that Amendment 64 passed by a 3-1 margin, he continues to vote against the wishes of his constituents. He does not respond to emails, he does not explain why he votes the way he does, he just does.

BOULDER — Surveys suggest that growing numbers of Boulder Countys high school students dont think that smoking marijuana poses serious health risks — a trend that concerns Boulder County Public Health officials.

Alcohol is the most commonly used drug in adolescence, and it is a contributing factor to motor
vehicle crashes, homicide, and suicide.6,7 More than three-fourths of students (76.7%) have tried
alcohol, and the prevalence of lifetime alcohol use increased by grade level – 85.3% of 12th graders
have consumed at least one drink of alcohol.
Current alcohol use and binge drinking were also more
prevalent among the upper grades – 56.9% of 12th graders
had used alcohol in the 30 days preceding the survey, and
44.3% of 11th graders had engaged in binge drinking. Overall
prevalence rates for current alcohol use and binge drinking
were 48.8% and 32.4%, respectively.

But yet, it’s marijuana that gets all the bad press. Marijuana which is used less than alcohol by high schoolers.

I’d rather have my child using marijuana than alcohol, wouldn’t you?

Way to be Jess. A serving size that doesn’t contain more than 10 milligrams of active THC?? Not going to work for many patients that use medical marijuana/cannabis.

Putting hard working, quality consciencious people out of business is not what Amendment 64 was all about.

We don’t need any .5 nano/ml duid bills, we don’t need any limites on edibles, we don’t need anymore political bullshit.

Make your voice heard.

As a medical marijuana red card holder for the past 3.5 years, my tolerance is off the charts. Limiting portions to 10 mills is going to be cost prohibitive and take away medical marijuana patients access to strong medicine.

Hmmm… not sure I’m up for this dude from NJ (who maintains a address in Denver so he can claim he lives here) is up to anything good for the state of Colorado or those of us that hold medical use cards. From what I can read through the lines in this article is he’s already spent over $100,000 lobbying. Is Rep Dan Pabon, D-Denver already in his pocket?

One tax for medicine. Red card holders = lowest tax

Two tax for Colorado residents - 15%

Three tax for out of staters = 30% - limit purchase.

This is one of my very good friends Yusef and his girlfriend. Last week, he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He is one of the sweetest person I have ever met. He’s 16, and is an amazing student. His girlfriend is standing by him through everything, and everyone is supporting him. He had to shave his head for therapy. He’s fighting through it all and he WILL get through it. He WILL beat cancer and he WILL be a survivor. I love Yusef, everyone does. And his girlfriend is his number 1 supporter.

Stay strong Yusef.

I just want to add that Yusef is only the 11th person in the United States to be diagnosed with his form of Leukemia this year. It is extremely rare, and very hard to treat. The average life span after being diagnosed is 7.5 months. I still believe in him though. I believe he can beat the odds, because he’s the strongest person I know.
